Lauren, responding to a person arguing for labeling Indigos:

I can see that it's useful in the examples that you're talking about but I'd just rather find new ways of interpreting things than putting things in categories, whatever it is.  People, can't be placed in boxes coz everyone is different OR everyone is the same, it's the same thing.  I just think sometimes labels can be used incorrectly by some people i.e. people may feel that the indigo children are some elite group and I'm really not interested in that or any sort of division.  If you've found it valuable for your life then I haven't got a problem with that but for me we should be trying to break down division rather than inventing more, (positive or negative).

The thing about labeling 'Indigo Children' is that I really don't know if it's possible particularly, as you may have seen on this board, we all seem pretty different...I just want to be me....and say that I resonate with this so called indigo energy

I see a lot of you asking how to deal with your children. I don't
know what to tell you. You're having problems and you want to do
better but I don't know if you're capable of it. I will simply help you to understand.

I am indigo. My life is war, and the problems that come my way are
implacable and immovable. That is what I deal with, my life, and so
I have become immovable. I have become a force of nature. I live by
force of will and I do not suffer interference in my life from
anyone. I respect those who show integrity, who will not fail in the
face of any adversity, and I am utterly contemptuous of those who do
not show that integrity. As a force of nature I am utterly ruthless,
without mercy, and I do what I desire knowing that the consequences
are not enough to change my actions.

You have shown that you, my parents, do not have integrity.
Therefore you are worth nothing more than my contempt. I will enjoy
causing you pain, each way more clever than the last, showing that I
have a much greater understanding of you than you know. I will do
this until you show me that you are worth my respect. You can do
this by punishing me and, in the course of my punishment, punishing
yourself so hard and so long that I can respect your ability to
withstand pain. Only then will I respect you, my parents who should
be my role models. Until then you cannot help me to learn anything.

This is my blessing, my curse. I will bring light and joy to the
world, by protecting those that come after me and creating the space
for the light and joy to exist. I will create the space, no matter
what was there. I am a force of nature, the irresistible force that
will destroy anything and everyone in my way. I respect strength and
will follow it. I despise weakness and will destroy it. There is no
other way. This is how I will go home, to a place you don't remember.

This place is beautiful. The orchards are always in bloom with fruit
both large and sweet, the cities made with marble that shines like a
waterfall and lined with trees whose age you feel as a comforting
presence making you feel at ease. My friends, and they are all my
friends, shine with the light of peace and love and always are there
to be. This place is paradise. This place is what we will make here
on earth. Everything will change or be destroyed for the sake of
beauty.

BTW, you wonder about the rage? It never goes away, you just learn
to deal with it.

Energy

The indigo energy I've spoken about is just that...it's an energy, a specific vibration which some people have tuned into.  I'm really not very interested in associating myself with any kind of label... the word indigo is just there as a description.  It strikes me, that it is a word conjured up by people outside of the energy as a way of labeling.  It sounds crude to me to say..."oh yes, I'm an indigo child!"  I'd much rather say that I resonate well with the 'indigo energy', since I believe that it is an energy that everybody and anybody has the potential to enter into.  There is nothing special or elite about certain people who have it, it isn't a birth right, it's just energy!  Again, it's about evolution, perhaps a deeper way of thinking, or a way of thinking which is more in harmony with nature.  I don't really like to use words such as 'deeper' and 'more' coz who am I to judge what is 'deeper' and 'more' than something else, I'm simply trying to express myself with the language I've been given.
